MID CENTURY MODERN MURAL FOR YOUR APARTMENT’S CO-WORKING SPACE, MILTON KEYNES

Hired by Bristol interior design company, Simple Simon, Sophie worked up a bespoke mural design to fit in with the elegant, modern and stylish interiors of Your Apartment based in Milton Keynes. The mural is a decorative focal point for a co-working, social space, for those staying in one of the self service apartments which are also located in London too.

BOLD, BOTANICAL, EXTERIOR GARDEN MURAL IN LONDON

This bespoke mural design transforms a small wall at the end of this London garden into a bright feature for the house owners to look out on from the newly renovated kitchen. The mural acts as a backdrop to the natural plants and border which will be blooming with new growth in a years time. A contemporary and hassle free way to bring more colour and life into a social outdoor space, especially where space is lacking in central London.

CRYSTAL PALACE LONDON

MID CENTURY MODERN, BOTANICAL, EXTERIOR MURAL IN CRYSTAL PALACE LONDON

Painted across four walls, Sophie Rae created a design that flowed seamlessly around this London, box shaped garden. The design is a balance of bright colours and greens, architectural plant shapes and graphic mid century modern inspired elements. It also allows space for real plants to sit in front, in the planters. A injection of vibrancy into a social outdoor space.

The client said,

‘I absolutely loved working with Sophie - the whole experience, from our initial call to the design, to the execution was professional but also so friendly. The mural she created for us is gorgeous and has transformed our little garden. We’ve already had so many compliments. Can’t wait to make more use of the garden this summer.’

The client got in touch again, a year after the mural was painted to say,

‘One year on and we still love it as much as the first day it was finished. Such a lovely place to spend time with family.’

FARRINGDON LONDON

ABSTRACT, BOTANICAL MURAL FOR THE FENCE BAR IN FARRINGDON, LONDON

The interior design company that commissioned Sophie Rae said she,

‘…came in at the very last minute to help us with a bar refurbishment in Farringdon producing 2 large murals on the walls. They both look amazing and add incredible colour and vibrancy to the space. The project was completed under tight time constraints and we are thrilled with the results. Looking forward to using Sophie on another project soon.”

The aim was to create a statement wall that was bright and colourful, in keeping with the rest of the interior design and could be completed whilst other contractors were in the space, sorting out electrics, sanding and painting the floor etc…
Sophie Rae put a design together which the client was immediately happy with. She communicated with the site foreman and had responsibility for locking up the building after she had finished work for the day.
